D & B Grant is a family run business established in 1970 and currently we have 55 acres of land allocated to the production of top quality raspberries, strawberries and blackberries.

We are located in the heart of rural Perthshire three miles from Blairgowrie in an area famous for quality fruit growing of unsurpassed flavour. Location in this long established favoured area for soft fruit has influenced demand and determined the level of our expansion as growers over the past few years.

Through our membership of LEAF we are duty bound to ensure that we adopt farming and production methods which remain sympathetic to the local environment.

All fruit is hand picked by relatively small staff numbers in a grouping system each with a dedicated supervisor where awareness and adherence to all aspects of hygiene is rigorously enforced.

Equally the onus is placed on each individual picker to quality segregate fruit during the actual picking process with the frozen product subjected to a further quality check prior to being packaged.

All fruit harvested for freezing is transferred to a controlled temperature room within a 2 to 3 hour period of being picked and this attention to freezing detail on site ensures that best practice is followed to lock the flavour in the frozen berries.
